Mario Porzio

Mario Porzio mainly works from his office in Naples and at the Milan chambers.     

Over his career spanning over 55 years, he has specialised in different areas of law, including civil and corporate law,  maritime law, and banking law, as well as Italian and international contracts.

He is currently involved in litigation and advice on contractual, civil and commercial issues, having acquired a solid expertise and experience in providing assistance (judicial and extrajudicial) to the firm's clients at home and abroad.

He graduated in law from the Federico II University of Naples in 1959 with a dissertation on Maritime Law entitled  "La responsabilità extracontrattuale del vettore aereo" ("The non-contractual liability of the air carrier").

After training with lawyer Luigi Porzio, he passed the bar examinations in 1961, and in 1967 he founded the Luigi Porzio law firm, with Prof. Avv. Lucio Bove. Admitted to act before the Corte di Cassazione (Italian Supreme Court), he is senior partner, as founding member of the Studio Luigi Porzio - Avv.ti Porzio Bove and Associates, which is a member of the Studi Legali Consociati.
